The Brello website open on a desktop display, showing the headline about independence and the back office above four cards in violet and indigo.

Brello runs the back office for independent advisory firms. Reporting, reconciliation, and the mandate review that used to take a quarter.

The identity had to hold at two sizes that rarely meet: a billboard on the side of a building, and a single row inside a review screen. Everything on this page is delivered material, taken from the project files.

Brand film
Two rows of the Brello brand guidelines: the core palette in violet and indigo, tints and accents, the Aspekta specimen, the canopy mark with its construction grid, the colorways and the clear space rules.
Identity system, foundations and the mark
The Brello billboard artwork flat: a panel of the canopy mark on indigo, a violet gradient panel, the wordmark, and a panel reading Independence, covered.
Campaign artwork
The same artwork lit on a billboard mounted to a concrete building at dusk, with trees in the foreground.
The same artwork, in place
The general and accent theme sheets: light and dark builds of the illustration set, and the violet, pink and blue accent gradient maps with their stop values.
General and accent themes
The Your Book Live event artwork flat: the title set large on a grid ground, the date, the canopy mark in a violet panel, and the hosted by Brello lockup.
Event artwork
The same event artwork filling the screen behind a conference stage, with two chairs on the platform and an audience seated in front.
The same artwork, on stage
A collage of Brello interface pieces on violet: custodian sync, mandate approval rows, a quarterly letter in review, an editor component panel, and a document sidebar.
Product interface

They talked me out of it.

I asked for a gradient on the logo. I got a short explanation of why not, and I've since repeated that explanation to two other people as if I came up with it.
