Motion & Kinetics
Movement designed as part of the page. Entrances, scroll sequences, and state changes that direct attention and make the interface feel considered.
Who it is for
Brands whose craft is hard to convey in a still frame. Anyone whose site feels inert next to the competition.
The problem it solves
Most site animation is decorative and expensive. It fires late, drops frames on a phone, and gets in the way of reading. Motion earns its place only when it does a job and stays smooth doing it.
What I do
- 01Choose the few moments in a page that deserve movement and leave the rest still.
- 02Build sequences on transform and opacity so they stay on the GPU.
- 03Tune timing and easing against the real content instead of a default curve.
- 04Design a complete experience for visitors who ask for reduced motion.
What you end up with
- Motion built into the site, not added as a library default.
- A reduced motion path that is composed, not switched off.
- Smooth playback on mid range phones, measured instead of assumed.
